MONOLOGUE / 24 is an ongoing web-based sculptural project initiated in 2025. Every 24 hours, a new sculpture is presented on the website. Each sculpture is placed within an entirely white setting. Resembling the conventional “white cube” of an exhibition space, this environment is further simplified and emptied of context: there is no identifiable location, scale, or surrounding landscape—only the sculpture itself and the pure white space around it.

Within this setting, each sculpture appears as a life-form existing entirely on its own. The work does not assign the sculptures specific origins, histories, or mythologies, nor does it offer definitive explanations of their identities. Where they come from, why they have taken these particular forms, what kind of world they might belong to, and what they may have experienced are all left to the viewer’s imagination.

The narrative of the work is therefore not a predetermined story. It develops through the act of viewing. Confronted with these unfamiliar and isolated forms, viewers may draw upon their own experiences, memories, and imaginations to construct possible histories and meanings for them. Each sculpture can be understood both as an individual presence and as a fragment from an unknown world.

As new sculptures are added at 24-hour intervals, they gradually form an expanding archive. Each update extends the temporal structure of the work while creating new possible relationships among the sculptures. The website functions both as the white cube in which they are encountered and as the temporal container in which they accumulate.

MONOLOGUE / 24 has no predetermined ending and does not attempt to tell a complete or closed story. Instead, it unfolds as a continuous monologue. Each sculpture remains silent within the white space, yet its form invites speculation about life, origin, and unknown worlds. Together, these individual presences form an unfinished sculptural narrative that continues to develop over time.
