“Logging, clearing land, creating lakes, and transforming nature, we are convinced that we already have the power to control the outside world. Nature is no longer “happening on its own”, no longer existing outside of human intervention. However, the painstaking calculations and sophisticated transmissions are no match for the enormous power that originates from the ground and causes a ripple on the surface of the sea.”

 

We used man-made objects and transmission structure, through human interaction to make this installation work, after a period of transmission to convey the force to the small square glass cylinder, causing the water to fluctuate. This installation is just like the ocean, the crustal movements on the sea floor will release the accumulated energy, through the gradual transmission from the ocean to the surface to form waves or even tsunamis.
